How does it actually stop the car being stolen?
It immobilises the car so it won't start or drive without your tag (or PIN). Depending on your vehicle it's wired in over the CAN-bus network or as a hard-wired analogue install, whichever suits. Either way, a relayed signal, a cloned key or even a swapped ECU gets a thief nowhere.
Is there an app?
Yes, there's an optional app if you want it. Day to day you just drive with your radio tag, or a PIN on the car's own buttons. The app doesn't track where you go, and there's no subscription for it.
Does it track my car or where I go?
No. The Microbot is an immobiliser. It prevents the car being taken; it doesn't record or share your location. Nothing watches where you drive. If you also want stolen-vehicle recovery, it pairs happily with a separate dedicated tracker.
Is there a subscription?
No subscription is needed for the Microbot's core protection. It's a one-off. Fitted, set up, and yours, with no monthly fee to keep it working.
How do I start my car day to day?
Exactly as you do now. Just have your tag with you and the car starts and drives normally. If you ever don't have the tag, you enter your PIN on the car's existing buttons. It arms itself again automatically when you walk away.
What if I lose my tag?
You're covered. As well as the tag, you can drive by entering your PIN on the car's own buttons, so a misplaced tag never leaves you stranded.
Will it fit my car?
The Microbot suits a wide range of modern vehicles and integrates over the existing wiring, with no cables cut. Your approved installer confirms compatibility with your exact make and model before anything is booked.
Can a thief find it and disable it?
It's concealed during fitting with no LED and no external signs, and depending on the vehicle it's fitted either over the digital CAN-bus or a hard-wired analogue circuit. There's nothing on show to locate, and no single wire to cut that defeats it.
Does anti-hijack make driving risky?
Not at all. Day to day you'll never notice it. The car drives exactly as normal with your tag present. Anti-hijack only steps in if the vehicle is taken or you're forced out, and it immobilises safely.
